Welcome to Jamila Homeware

My name is Gemela (Jamila), and I am proud to be half Moroccan and half English. Growing up between these two vibrant cultures has given me a deep appreciation for tradition, craftsmanship, and adventure. For years, my brand was deeply rooted in Moroccan heritage, inspired by the rich artistry and culture of my father’s homeland. But as life has changed over the last few years, so has my vision—and I have so much exciting news to share… just not yet!

With a fresh start and new dreams, Jamila Homeware has taken on a whole new feel—one inspired by my travels between Morocco and the United States, particularly the stunning coastal charm of Orlando, Florida. I wanted to bring a sense of escape into my collections, curating pieces that make you feel like you’re on vacation every day. Whether it’s the breezy, laid-back energy of the beach or the tropical warmth of a Florida getaway, my goal is to bring those vacay vibes straight to your home.

Of course, my Moroccan roots will always be part of me. For years, I was honoured to support children in Moroccan homes by donating a portion of my profits to provide life essentials. Unfortunately, due to government regulations, I can no longer continue this initiative. But that mission will always remain close to my heart, and I want my long-time customers to know that it was, and always will be, a part of who I am.

As I embrace this new journey, I want to take you along with me. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or are just discovering Jamila Homeware, thank you for being part of this exciting chapter. I can’t wait to share what’s next!
